The Redwood High School Botany Club is leading the way for Corte Madera's FIRST community garden!

From Bare to Beautiful

This exciting project will transform a bare, underutilized corner of San Clemente Park into a vibrant community hub.

The garden will be an inviting, beautiful space where everyone can connect, learn, and enjoy nature.

It will feature raised herb beds, a community-use orchard, and native plants.

A Garden for All

  • Be Open to All: No locks, no barriers. Just a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

  • Promote Sustainability: A habitat of native plants and trees to attract pollinators, support biodiversity, and beautify our community.

  • Provide Education: A living classroom offering hands-on learning about sustainable practices.

  USDA People's Garden

The garden has received USDA certification as a People's Garden.

A People’s Garden connects gardens across the country that produce local food, practice sustainability, and bring people together in their community.
