Native Habitat Garden
Town Park, Corte Madera

Our first ever native habitat garden has come a long way since its beginnings in 2021, from invasive plants to a bustling habitat with pollinators and wildlife.

And, now, there's even more beauty...

After planting.

California native plants have transformed the area into a pollinator paradise, teeming with biodiversity and vibrant wildlife.

Sustainable additions.

In the interest of reusing natural elements, the bark used was salvaged from a redwood tree downed in Corte Madera during a 2024 storm.

And a place to perch.

You'll also find new seating waiting for you. The wooden bench and reclaimed redwood tree log are perfect places to perch, while soaking up this new habitat.

Thank you, to all our donors who helped make this happen.

Much gratitude also extends to the team at CNL of Mill Valley for their meticulous preparation of the landscape, remarkable transformational work, and keen ability to uncover the beautiful old-growth redwood tree log. A true natural treasure!
