Daniel Stralka Memorial Pollinator Garden
at Dominican University of California

A public space and student research garden

This beautiful and meaningful tribute honors the memory of Daniel Stralka, a local beekeeper, scientist, gardener, and pollinator advocate.

Established in 2022 by beekeeper Bonnie Morse of BeeAudacious and Dr. Denise Lucy, Executive Director of the Institute for Leadership Studies at Dominican University of California, the garden has become a sanctuary for bees, butterflies, and other vital species.

With a shared commitment to biodiversity, Refugia Marin is now stewarding this vibrant space to carry its vision forward.
