An Evening In Conversation With Kara Swisher!

Save The Date_RefugiaMarin_April28_NL.jpg

Join Refugia Marin for a special benefit evening featuring best-selling author, journalist and podcast host, Kara Swisher, in conversation.

Your support will help native habitat gardens take root across Marin, including our newest project at the Larkspur Library.

When: Tuesday, April 28, 2026

Where: The Lark Theater, Larkspur

Why this matters

Our gardens feature California native plants that support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.

The native habitat garden at the new Larkspur Library will develop into a peaceful place for visitors of all ages to connect with nature. It will serve as a visible demonstration of climate-resilient planting and local biodiversity.

We're offering multiple ways to support this work at the event:

  • General Admission tickets for $250 include refreshments and hors d'oeuvres

  • VIP Meet & Greet with Kara Swisher for $1,000 includes event ticket, refreshments and appetizers as well as a photo opportunity

  • Donation opportunities throughout the evening
